Hello and Happy Holidays to everyone! I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving during these very tough economic times we are facing during the Christmas season. At least gas has gone down! So maybe that is a little bit of good news for us. The Jason Hartman interview will be up soon. We had some minor delays but now we are on track. The Thanksgiving holiday put us somewhat behind.
I really enjoyed Jason coming on the program. He shared with us his extensive knowledge about finance and real estate. What I was very impressed with about Jason is his passion and commitment about his work. He is really concerned about people and especially the current economic crises this country faces. Jason is also not shy about expressing his feelings about Wall Street and principle players that have helped to create this mess we are in.

We are facing a financial/economic crises in our country of unprecedented proportions. Since the beginning of the year, over 1 million jobs have been lost and Wall Street has taken a plunge. Many of you have watched your savings, 401 k investments lose much of its value. Sadly, some of you have lost your jobs or have had your hours reduced by your company. A lot of people who saved for retirement are now unable to retire because of the lost value of their 401 k plan. Wall Street corruption and greed along with the mortgage meltdown has taken us into a recession. Many people I have spoken to are afraid of the immediate future.
What do we do? Where do we go for answers? I have spoken to many people about this situation we are in and have decided to ask the experts for answers to these economic challenges we face. So, we are beginning our "Interviews With Financial Experts" series on Best Selling Author Television.
This special television series will focus on the economic situation at hand. Hopefully, it will help you navigate through the complex economic issues facing us.
I have invited some great people on the show to share their knowledge and expertise with you. We will begin our series with Real Estate/Money expert Jason Hartman. Jason is also a very successful talk radio host. His show is broadcast on KABC talk radio and he has agreed to come on the program! You can read his bio below. Hello Everyone! I have been somewhat silent for a while now. Most of you have known we were set to produce our new series from the Borders Books in Century City. Our first guest was to be actor, author and star of Broadway and Television Icon Adrienne Barbeau. Unfortunately our program was stopped at the last minute by someone in corporate at Borders headquarters.
Why? We do not know and we were not given a reason. After all of the calls, scheduling and putting my reputation on the line contacting the major publishers, agents and publicists we were shut down before we could get started. Needless to say, I was very frustrated and angry after being reassured that my program would be given the green light. We even had a full page write up in the Century City News printed about us! And I also spread the word amongst all of you about our new series.
I worked very hard behind the scenes to make things work. However, it fell on deaf ears. It reminds me why I left the corporate world years ago. And it also reaffirms why I am working so hard on a new program using the latest technology. The show must go on and I do apologize for the delay and set backs we have had. I want to reassure everyone that we are working hard on alternative programming and some new things. Once they are solidified, I will let you know.
We are building huge communities online and building up our audience through the social media networks, becoming totally independent of the corporate juggernaut. In the meantime, I promise all of you I will produce the highest quality programming featuring some great authors in the not too distant future.
